January will mark one year since Bedding News Now officially launched its first newsletter, and I want to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us over the year.
Whether through advertising — shout-out to Kingsdown, Therapedic International, MLily, XSensor and Bed Tech — or through word of mouth at markets or social media posts on the Mattress Industry Facebook Group, everyone I’ve spoken to has encouraged this vision to create a trade publication that does things differently.
It means so much to me that you all have continued to support the publication with kind words and feedback. We set out with the goal of challenging the industry and talking about subjects that may be uncomfortable but are essential to bring up. There was a need for more in-depth coverage of the industry through industry insight from leaders and even retail profiles that show success strategies. I’m excited to say that we’re only getting started.
There’s so much that’s going to happen in the industry in 2024 — way more than just the TSI/Mattress Firm deal — and I look forward to seeing it through with all of you. We sincerely appreciate the support from everyone and, as always, encourage you to reach out about interesting topics that should be discussed. Let’s make the industry better together.
