Diamond Mattress says it will offer retailers a strong merchandising story in the innovative gel grid mattress category with the Las Vegas Market summer release of its Gel Grid by Diamond program.
From its B-975 showroom, Gel Grid by Diamond Mattress presents retailers with two models of Gel Grid Hybrid and two models of Gel Grid Foam, as well as boxed bed options. Designed to aggressively drive sales, the program also offers three POP bundle options that include a product demo box, dual light box, lighted and standard headboards, retractable banners, tent cards and window cling.
“The Diamond gel grid program stands above other options because it goes beyond the product and helps sell on the retail floor with eye-catching, easy-to-understand POP,” says Patrick Wolf, vice president of sales and education.
The numbers back the claim, according to the company’s sales reports on Gel Grid by Diamond Mattress. The new mattresses launched last summer and hit retail floors early last fall. Since November, sales have more than doubled and new customer orders were up 400%. The high margins at retail price points of $1,299-$1,999, along with the impactful merchandising bundle, contribute to the strong performance of the program.
This summer release of Gel Grid by Diamond offers a next-generation gel grid layer combined with CertiPur-US HD comfort layers in all models and the 7-Series independent coil system in the hybrids.
