Diamond Mattress’ Ethos line leads to 60% to 70% margins for retail partners

What’s happening: Recently when Diamond Mattress took a closer look at its eco-friendly Ethos collection — which it says offers healthy margins to its retail partners — the company was able to quantify what it believes has been a strong upward trajectory with the three-model line.

Why it matters: The company says Ethos can deliver retailers healthy margins of 60% to 70%. The company also reported sales doubling each month since its August 2021 launch among retailers who carry the niche program.

“We stay on top of consumer trends,” says Director of Marketing Trina Solomon. “As older millennial consumers increase their buying power, their voices along with the Gen Z consumers demand sustainable products and solutions. We also provide marketing support that speaks to them, which is something our retail partners really value.”

Ethos mattress models include the 14-inch Cove Hybrid, 15-inch Natural Hybrid and 12-inch Organic Hybrid. The collection is made in the U.S. using GOTS-certified organic cotton and wool, natural latex, non-toxic EcoFlex foam and Diamond’s patented zoned and nested wrapped coils. The retail price range for a queen mattress is $1,699-$2,499.
