Shifman Mattresses recognized industry veteran John Lowrance as Salesperson of the Year 2023 during a company awards presentation at the High Point Market.
In earning his first Shifman sales excellence award, Lowrance was recognized for excelling in three key performance areas: significantly surpassing his prior-year sales, adding retail partners within his Pacific Northwest territory, and gaining a balance of share in national accounts where he supports Shifman’s national accounts manager.
“John is a consummate professional who is always willing to do what is needed to help the team win in addition to providing exemplary service to his accounts,” says James Berry, Shifman sales director.
Shifman awards sales excellence based on overall territory sales revenue, client acquisition rates, existing client engagement and contributions to the overall success of the team.
Since joining Shifman in 2020 as Pacific Northwest territory sales manager, Lowrance has demonstrated his depth of knowledge and strong relationships built on more than 20 years in the mattress industry with brands such as Serta Simmons Bedding, Ashley and Pure Talalay.
