Kingsdown, Inc. recently recognized 31 employees for benchmark years of service, including two employees who have logged 40 years with the company. The annual recognition program rewards and recognizes corporate and sales staff with extended tenures for their dedication to the company values and its customers and customers.
“As we begin our 120th anniversary year, the fact that members of our Kingsdown employee family have been here for multiple decades is a testament to the value we place in the contributions throughout the company and to our customers,” says Frank Hood, president and chief executive officer of Kingsdown. “The corporate growth and industry leadership we have enjoyed for decades can be tied directly back to the committed daily work of each of these long-term employees, and our larger Kingsdown family.”
The employees honored include staff members at all levels of the organization – including operations and administration, research and development, manufacturing and distribution. They were based throughout Kingsdown facilities in the United States.
Two of the longest-serving employees recognized recently include Linda Warren, who has logged 40 years in the Mebane, North Carolina plant, and Jay Gibson who has worked in the Lakeland, Florida plant for 30 years.
“Since our founding, Kingsdown employees have always been at the center of the company’s growth and success and its leadership in the bedding industry,” adds Hood. “They have greatly contributed to the company’s ability to innovate while incorporating the latest in sleep science and technology to bring new products to market. With the dedication of our entire corporate family, we continue to be able to consistently provide better products for more restorative sleep. They have helped us push the envelope in order to develop new mattress solutions that offer enhanced engineering, design and consumer comfort.
