Mattress World Northwest aims to surpass last year’s fundraising for cystic fibrosis at 3rd annual golf tournament

Building on the success of last year’s charity golf tournament — which raised almost $70,000 for cystic fibrosis research — Mattress World Northwest’s next event will be held Aug. 19 at the Stone Creek Golf Club in Oregon City, Oregon.

Cystic fibrosis affects thousands of individuals, and Mattress World Northwest remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting the local community in its fight against this genetic disorder. The tournament not only offers a day of golf but also provides an opportunity for local businesses to come together for a great cause.

“We are thrilled to host our third annual golf tournament in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation,” says Sean Hathaway, marketing director at Mattress World Northwest. “Last year’s success was truly inspiring, and we are eager to exceed that achievement this year. Together, we can make an even greater impact in the lives of those affected by cystic fibrosis.”

Sean Hathaway and his wife, Shari, have a deeply personal connection to the cause, as their son Ross was born with cystic fibrosis. Since then, the Hathaway family has created the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and dedicated themselves to raising awareness and funds for research and support.

Local companies are invited to sponsor a team or bring a foursome to participate in this charitable event. Sponsorship packages offer various benefits, including recognition in event materials, on-course branding opportunities and more.
