Exclusive: Therapedic to show ‘undiscovered gem’ in return to High Point

Therapedic International will return to the High Point Market next month after a four-year absence, showcasing several of its Tommy Bahama mattresses.

The bedding maker is teaming up with whole-home supplier Lifestyle, whose showroom is located at 320 E. Commerce St. Therapedic will display its mattresses on Lifestyle’s adjustable bases.

Therapedic CEO and President Gerry Borreggine, a longtime High Point supporter, says he’s pleased that his company is returning to the market where it opened its first corporate showroom in 2006. He hopes Therapedic’s showing will build more support for the High Point Market among bedding manufacturers.

“We’ve always believed in the power of High Point,” Borreggine notes. “It’s the industry’s most influential event, and we’re thrilled to be back in a way that aligns with our brand and our commitment to retail success.”

Therapedic maintained a High Point showroom for 15 years, a commitment that was unmatched by any other top mattress brand, Borreggine says.

He said Therapedic’s Tommy Bahama line, which touts luxurious styles, is well suited to today’s mattress marketplace.

“Tommy Bahama brings a rare blend of comfort, fashion and home lifestyle appeal that’s perfect for today’s retailers looking to elevate their showroom stories,” Borreggine says. “We believe it is the undiscovered gem of all our merchandising collections with the feels, looks and strong selling stories to expand any in-store assortment.”
