Diamond aims to branch out with new standalone High Point showroom

Diamond Mattress is expanding its investment in High Point Market with the opening of its first standalone showroom in the International Home Furnishings Center, H-638.

This gives the company a significantly larger platform to showcase its growing product portfolio and represents an important step in Diamond Mattress’ continued growth and commitment to the East Coast market.

“Since our High Point debut in April 2024, we’ve shown in a shared space with Fashion Bed Group in the Atrium, and it was a great place to start,” Marketing Director Jessica Lester tells Bedding News Now. “As our assortment and our East Coast business have grown, we needed more room to tell the full Diamond story. Our own showroom lets us present our brand, merchandising programs, new point of purchase materials, and growing assortment the way we want retailers to see them – from accessible, high-value programs all the way up to our most advanced smart-sleep and luxury products.”

She said High Point has been one of our best ways for Diamond to meet East Coast and national retailers in person.

“Each market since 2024 has brought new partners and stronger relationships with our current ones, and that growth is a big reason we felt ready to invest in a larger, dedicated space,” Lester explains.

The market helps the manfuacters branch out to new customers beyond independent retailers, like interior designers and larger retailers.

“Our focus is still on independent and regional retailers, who have been the core of our business since 1946, but the new showroom gives us a platform to start conversations with larger retail groups and with the design trade too,” Lester said. “Collections like Generations—with its heirloom-quality materials and artisan finishes, Technogel—with its luxury feel and price points, and Black Diamond – our top selling collection with a sleek look and cooling technology, are a natural fit for design-minded customers.”

Lester said the company wanted to bring the look and experience it has in its Vegas showroom to High Point. The brand will have more than 30 mattresses on the floor, mixing its newest introductions with its strongest-performing collections across a broad range of price points.

“The space is designed around what sets Diamond apart: handcrafted quality, exclusive cooling and pressure-relief technologies, and real value for retailers,” Lester said. “Retailers will be able to experience mattresses from each of our collections, from Black Diamond and our new Diamond Copper models up to Technogel and AutoPilot 2.0, and see how each collection fits on their own floor.

The company will highlight the debut of AutoPilot 2.0, its re-engineered smart sleep system. It adjusts firmness and support in real time based on each sleeper’s body and sleep position. It also tracks biometrics to build a personal sleep profile and daily sleep score, and now houses that technology in a redesigned, serviceable smart topper, so diagnostics and service are much easier for retailers.

“Beyond that, we’re excited to show the Technogel collection, bed-in-box Generations models, the refreshed Gel Grid collection in hybrid, quilted & hand-tufted options, and the new Arise and Uplift models in our Dreamstage lineup with Air Response foam,” Lester said. “Mostly, we’re excited to welcome our partners into a space that’s fully ours!”
