Culp appoints Mary Beth Hunsberger as CFO

Culp has appointed Mary Beth Hunsberger as chief financial officer, reporting to Iv Culp, president and chief executive officer. In addition to leading the company’s finance organization, Hunsberger will continue to oversee global operations, further strengthening coordination between Culp’s financial, operational, and strategic priorities.

Hunsberger succeeds Ken Bowling, who previously announced plans to retire following nearly 30 years of service to Culp. Bowling will remain with the company in a consulting capacity through the end of calendar 2026 to support an orderly leadership transition.

“Mary Beth’s appointment as chief financial officer is an important milestone for Culp and reflects the confidence we have in her leadership,” said Iv Culp. “Her combination of financial expertise, operational experience, and strategic perspective makes her exceptionally well suited for this expanded responsibility. Mary Beth has been instrumental in advancing our transformation, and her leadership will be critical as we continue Project Blaze, our strategic initiative to integrate our formerly separate operating divisions into a more agile, efficient, and unified Culp-branded organization.”

Culp continued, “We are also deeply grateful to Ken Bowling for his nearly three decades of dedicated service to Culp. Ken has made significant contributions to our company and has played an important role in helping re-energize our business. We appreciate his continued support during this transition and wish him the very best in retirement.”

Hunsberger’s appointment reflects the continued evolution of Culp’s leadership team and the company’s commitment to succession planning, organizational alignment, and long-term value creation. As part of this effort, the company has continued to strengthen key executive leadership roles to support Project Blaze and position Culp for future growth.

Most recently, Tommy Bruno assumed an expanded, enterprise-wide role as chief commercial officer, consolidating leadership of the company’s commercial strategy across sales, marketing, product development, innovation, and revenue-generation activities. With decades of home furnishings industry experience, Bruno has been instrumental in advancing Culp’s transformation efforts, strengthening customer partnerships, and aligning commercial execution across the unified CULP organization to support growth.

Each member brings distinct expertise, but they are united by a shared commitment to serving our customers, supporting our employees, improving execution, and creating long-term value for our shareholders.
