Description: Mlily is looking to expand its market reach by partnering with motivated and experienced Independent Sales Representatives (1099). It seeks dedicated sales professionals who can effectively manage a specific territory, drive sales growth, develop new and existing accounts, and represent the Mlily brand professionally. This is an independent contractor opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand Mlily’s customer base and ensure a strong market presence within the territory.
- Actively prospect, qualify, and secure new customer accounts.
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing exceptional support.
- Present Mlily products, promotions, and value propositions compellingly to current and potential clients.
- Effectively manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending Mlily training, markets, and reviewing professional publications.

Requirements:
- Proven successful experience as a sales representative (independent representative experience strongly preferred).
- Experience and expertise within the bedding, furniture, or related consumer durables industry is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively.
- Must reside within or near the assigned territory.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the territory and attend required trade shows/markets.
- Ability to effectively manage territory and workload remotely.
