HealthGuard, a division of Bay Street Manufacturing and Canada’s largest top-of-bed manufacturer, has promoted Elizabeth (Liz) Almeida to director of sales, retail. The company said this position was created to strengthen HealthGuard’s leadership structure and prepare for future expansion in both new business and company acquisitions.
In her new role, Almeida will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, expanding HealthGuard’s customer base and reinforcing its position as the trusted source for scientifically supported, health-driven bedding products across all categories. She previously was national account manager, where she played a pivotal role in driving more than 30% growth across all major accounts and cultivating strong relationships that advanced HealthGuard’s market leadership, the company said.

A seasoned sales professional with more than 20 years of experience in account management and buying, Almeida has held senior roles with Bay Street Manufacturing (HealthGuard), CPI Sales, Today’s Shopping Choice, Walmart Canada and Atlantic Promotions Inc. Her expertise spans national account development, strategic planning and team leadership, supported by a proven track record of delivering measurable growth.
