Malouf Home has hired Joe Pedersen as its new vice president of global quality and compliance. In his new role, Pedersen will be leading functions that include customer experience and furniture product development, as well as implementing a global quality organization, focusing specifically on industry best practices, quality assurance and product compliance.
“I am very excited to join Malouf and offer my expertise to strengthen our competitive position in the industry,” Pedersen says. “A big commitment of mine is to streamline processes and procedures while implementing best practices and new systems that will give us the biggest advantage moving forward. Pedersen has over a decade of experience in quality assurance, compliance, organizational excellence and product management. He will be leveraging principals and methodologies commonly found in industries such as automotive, medical and aerospace to achieve his goals at Malouf. He most recently worked for a leading global fitness equipment design and manufacturing company. Pedersen also has an MBA and master’s degree in electrical engineering.
