Description: This person’s main responsibility is performing daily buying of raw materials based on the production schedule released. They will work with Plant management to identify discrepancies during cycle counts and fixes the issues to increase overall cycle count accuracy. In addition to providing back up assistance to supplies as needed or as requested, they will also oversee the receiving dock, including training, scheduling, and directing the work of all Materials Delivery Coordinators.
Qualifications:
- One year or more of experience in a Materials position
- One year in purchasing/buying in manufacturing (preferred)
- Current Fork Lift certification (preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet or database software preferred.
