2 online mattress brands recalled for violating flammability standards

About 200 mattresses sold on Amazon by Huizhou Dingbang E-Commerce Co. Ltd. dba DINBooonLUX, of China, from February 2025 through September 2025 have been recalled.

The CPSC website says the mattresses violate the mandatory flammability standard, posing a risk of serious injury or death from fire. They were sold for about $160.

This recall involves DINBooonLUX 12-Inch Full Size Hybrid Mattresses. The mattresses are 12 inches thick and were sold in full size.

This follows a similar recent recall of 5,340 Avenco- and Novilla-brand mattresses sold on Amazon, Avencohome.com and Novilla.net from January 2025 through April 2025 for between $85 and $265. The mattresses were made by PT Champion Mattress Indonesia Manufacturing in Indonesia.

The news is especially relevant given the research Leggett & Platt previously presented, saying that low-cost imported mattresses sold online fail federal flammability standards.

In its study, seven of the eight tested mattress models (87.5%) failed the 1633 flammability test. One mattress model per brand was subjected to 1633 flammability testing. Five brands each had at least one model that failed all three 1633 tests conducted. Two of the brands had a model that failed two of three 1633 tests.

The test results submitted to the CPSC raise concerns that there may be widespread noncompliance of low-cost imported mattresses sold online in the U.S, according to Leggett & Platt.
