For years, Bedgear has supported the American Cancer Society through its Seatbelt Pillow program, providing comfort to patients undergoing treatment and helping fund breast cancer research.
“At Bedgear, we believe comfort should extend beyond the bedroom,” says Taylor Alletto, marketing manager and corporate social responsibility strategist for Bedgear. “It should show up in meaningful ways for the people who need it most. Our partnership with the American Cancer Society allows us to turn our products into a source of relief and compassion for patients and families navigating some of life’s hardest moments.”
This October, the company is continuing to make an impact with four strong initiatives:
- Five percent of all pillow sales on Bedgear.com in October will be donated to the American Cancer Society’s Breast Cancer Research.
- Buy 2, get $49.99 off promotion. Buy two pillows on Bedgear.com this month to get $49.99 off (the value of a Seatbelt Pillow), and Bedgear will donate a Seatbelt Pillow to the ACS.
- Retail activation. For every in-store pillow fitting completed in October, Bedgear will donate one Seatbelt Pillow to the ACS. No purchase required.
- Ongoing impact. For every Seatbelt Pillow sold year-round, Bedgear donates one to the ACS. The company will also continue to support ACS events, including Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks, by donating Seatbelt Pillows to Survivor Tents — spaces that celebrate survivors, families and friends.
“Every mile and every pillow represent hope and resilience,” Alletto added. “The goal isn’t just to provide comfort. It’s to inspire action and make a tangible difference for those impacted by cancer.”
This spring, Bedgear founder and CEO Eugene Alletto was named the 2025 Honoree at the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge Bash Gala at the Rainbow Room in New York City. Bedgear’s fundraising efforts helped raise nearly $500,000 to support the Hope Lodge Jerome L. Greene Family Center, which provides patients and caregivers free lodging during treatment.
