With the election behind us and a new year in full swing, members of the bedding industry came to Las Vegas Market ready to do business. Retailers are looking for new and exciting products with distinct features and benefits to help them sell more in 2025.
Typical at the January Vegas market, there is no shortage of new product for retailers to see. Manufacturers went all out this market, bringing new innovations and updating existing collections to meet today’s consumer demands.
Malouf announced big news before the market — it’s moving all mattress production to the U.S. The company has had inventory problems recently and is working to fix them, starting with this manufacturing move.

“We’re shifting our strategy to ensure we have consistent inventory and eliminate gaps,” says brand manager Ashlee Willes. “We’re expecting a strong year with in-stock inventory as a key pillar.”
The company is introducing the Ice Cloud pillow, a companion to the company’s Ice Cloud mattress, which features cooling covers. It allows retailers to bundle the bed and pillows, and the pillows are in stock and ready to order today.

DreamFit is another company with substantial news heading into market, as it is debuting its first-ever mattress collection. Dubbed the Grounding Sleep System, it consists of three beds that have patented graphene technology. This material pulls static tension out of the body, which the company says helps sleepers achieve more restorative rest and overnight recovery.
In the works for the last year, the mattresses are natural extension of its top-of-bed business and offer an opportunity to give retailers higher attachment rates.
The company also rebranded everything, from its packaging to its marketing materials and in-store displays. This aligns with the company’s new tagline, The Luxury of Rest. President Chealen Martin explains that health and beauty will be a focus for Dreamfit as it will position top-of-bed as part of a person’s beauty regimen. “It’s now packaged to represent the luxury product it is,” Martin adds.

Kingsdown continues to focus on a fashion-forward approach this market with updated lines and a new wave coil system. Contouring to the bending in a sleeper’s body, the coil has zones of different firmness that offer support in different areas.
Through the company’s BedMatch program, it has found that 72% of consumers are side sleepers. The wave coil addresses that by offering support where it matters, but also flexibility for side sleepers who push into the bed with their elbows. The wave coil is available in the company’s Prime, Passions and Vintage collections.
The showstopper this market is the company’s elevated Vintage collection. Hand-tufted and with a higher-end look, it has a much different feel than the company’s other lines — both in comfort and aesthetics. It’s much more toned down in color compared to some of the eccentric floral designs used on other models, and is reminiscent of a spa.

Molecule returns to market this year with several new innovations, including its five-bed Engage collection. Previously launched products were focused on “anti-memory foam,” according to company official Michael Allen. But Engage uses a new kind of memory foam that’s more breathable than standard memory foam.
Sculpt Tech foam is a proprietary material made with slow-response viscose that adapts to a sleeper’s body. It ranges from 5 to 8 pounds in density, and all of the beds feature foam encasement to offer more support when sitting on the sides of the beds. Hybrid options are offered at the higher end of the line, including its premium mattress, SculptMax.
Ergomotion mixes technology with adjustable bases in new ways this market with the introduction of the Rio Eco base. Made out of plastic bottles, the base offers biometric tracking, AI for behavioral nudging, sonic massage and lumbar support. With the success of the company’s Dawn House Living brand, which caters to senior citizens aging in place, it found that younger generations want biometric tracking and other technology in their bases.
“Younger people who are tech native and use technology everywhere else expect technology in their adjustable bases as well,” says Nicole Slinger, vice president of specialty sleep products.

In that vein, the company also released two platform beds that are drop-shippable and offer features like underbed lighting and option headboards. Slinger says these are a better solution for retailers that offer 55%-65% margins.
Beautyrest celebrates 100 years this year, and on Sunday its showroom was buzzing with excitement and giant balloons. At the front desk, a display of bowling balls is a call back to the brand’s popular method of using a bowling ball to show how each side of a bed reacts to pressure.
In line with its anniversary, the company completed a refresh of the Beautyrest Black brand. Last January, the company started releasing a few new models and released others, like hybrid options, periodically throughout the year. Now, the line is complete with models that feature a proprietary foam material the company calls Form HD. It’s a breathable memory foam that offers enhanced pressure relief and cooler sleep.

Throughout the showroom, large wall displays give a simple summary of the information people need to know about Beautyrest’s step-up system and adjustable base program. The company makes it easy to understand its four tiers of mattresses — BeautySleep, Beautyrest, Beautyrest World Class and Beautyrest Black. These beds are all color-coated and get more elegant as they get higher up the price chain, so as you go around the showroom you can easily distinguish which product tier each product is in.
Serta Simmons Bedding is celebrating 25 years of the Serta Counting Sheep mascot, and commemorating the special occasion by launching a series of initiatives designed to drive traffic to retailers, increase conversion at retail, and boost average unit selling price with premium products.
As part of this initiative, Serta launched a new line of adjustable bases under the brand name Baselogic. The line supports the Serta brand and the Beautyrest brand, and will include four base models — Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum — which will be available to retailers starting March 1, 2025.

Corsicana brings new collections that offer value and come in at $999 and under price points. It also revamped its mattress in a box and its two-sided mattress collections to give retailers more options and updated aesthetics.
“Double-sided mattress options were limited, and we’ve updated them because they’re starting to come back into popularity again,” says Mike Juoni, senior vice president of commercial operations. “At some independent retailers we work with, they account for 10% of total mattress sales.”
