Maine retailer highlights Gold Bond’s two-sided mattress with ‘You Just Need A Great Flippin Mattress’ campaign

Agren, with seven stores throughout Maine, has launched “You Just Need A Great Flippin Mattress” to promote the benefits of two-sided mattresses in conjunction with Gold Bond, long known as an evangelist for the products.

The innovative advertising program is supported by video of actors playing different roles of mattress shoppers suggestively referencing the Flippin Mattress in different vignettes. They all come together for a celebratory dance when they see the two-sided mattresses being offered by the retailer. They also created a separate landing page to promote the products and offers: www.flippinmattresses.com. 

The site states: “Upgrade your sleep with an Agren Factory Direct mattress — crafted in New England, double-sided and delivered to your home with complimentary next-day shipping.”

“A new generation of consumers — many of whom have never heard of two-sided mattresses — are waking up to the concept. They are longer lasting and add tremendous value to the purchase at any price point,” says Jason Pauley, chief operating officer of Agren. 

Gold Bond is the private-label partner for Agren’s two-sided mattress program because they share the same “family-owned” values of quality and service the Hartford manufacturer is known for.
