Gold Bond promotes veteran exec to plant manager

Gold Bond has promoted veteran executive Heldar Silva to plant manager, where he will oversee all facets of the company’s production.

Silva joined Gold Bond 10 years ago as a quilting supervisor and was promoted a year later to assistant plant manager, his most recent position. Before joining the company, he held various plant management positions with Sealy and Blue Bell Mattress/King Koil in Connecticut over a period of 11 years.

“Heldar is a talented production executive who has helped us improve our operations over a decade with us. This new leadership position in our plant recognizes those contributions and offers him the opportunity to continue to improve and enhance our operations,” says Bob Naboicheck, CEO of Gold Bond. “One of Heldar’s real strengths is his ability to train and motivate the production team, one of the key reasons for us to be able to continually maintain the high level of quality and dependability of delivery for our customers.”

“Gold Bond is a very special company. We have many dedicated associates committed to making our products the finest in the industry and I look forward to having a greater impact on our continued future growth in this new role,” says Heldar.
