Sleep Number has launched ClimateCool, a smart bed that actively cools and adjusts to each sleeper throughout the night.
More than half of people, especially women, sleep too hot or experience temperature fluctuations. There could be many reasons for the hot sleeper complaint, such as having different temperature preferences from your partner or being one of the 85% of women impacted by hot flashes.
The ClimateCool smart bed addresses temperature issues through all stages of a person’s life by allowing them to choose their optimal cooling environment.
Highlights of ClimateCool include:
- Individualized temperature control that builds on the features of the Climate360 smart bed by drawing warm air away from your body and actively cooling up to 15 degrees on each side of the bed — which is especially ideal for couples with different sleep needs and preferences.
- Science-backed cooling programs that sleepers can set and personalize based on their sleep needs, which can vary by person, over time and by life stage. These programs were developed in partnership with the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University.
