South Bay International is bringing Dream+ Sleep Technology to Las Vegas Market, July 26–30, 2026, opening a new chapter in fabric-level sleep innovation. Buyers and industry partners are invited to experience it firsthand at Showroom B-962.
Dream+, developed in partnership with Bekaert Deslee, winner of the German Innovation Award 2025, is a sleep technology infused directly into mattress fabric and pillow covers.
To evaluate its effectiveness, Bekaert Deslee commissioned a 30-day study conducted by a Portuguese sleep laboratory using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), one of the most widely used sleep quality measurement tools in research, developed in 1989 and applied by sleep scientists worldwide. The study involved 33 participants with documented sleep issues, each using a pillow with a Dream+ -infused cover placed inside a regular pillowcase.
Researchers measured sleep quality across seven individual PSQI components. Six showed notable improvement over 30 days, including sleep efficiency (+64%), time to fall asleep (+46%), sleep quality (+44%), and sleep duration (+41%).

Daytime dysfunction decreased by 56% and sleep disturbances by 19%.
Overall, the study reflected a greater than 45% improvement in the PSQI Global Score across participants. The one component with no statistically significant change was use of sleep medication, which is consistent with the technology’s design as a complement to, not a replacement for, existing sleep aids.
Dream+ is embedded at the fabric level, meaning the benefit is built into the product itself, not added as an accessory or secondary component. The technology is designed to work alongside the body’s natural sleep processes, with the goal of helping users fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and wake up more restored.
“As the sleep category continues to evolve, our customers are looking for tangible, science-backed differentiation. They are looking for proof,” said Edgar Carrasco, director of product development at South Bay International. “Dream+ gives our partners exactly that—a technology that performs at the fabric level and gives the consumer a measurable reason to choose their product over the competition. We’re proud to bring this to market and can’t wait for buyers to see it in person in Las Vegas.”
