Williams Co. Mattress will present its Signature, a flat-top memory foam hybrid collection that consists of a three-bed lineup, all featuring dual-core customization and durable edge support, at this year’s summer Las Vegas Market.
The classic feel of the memory foam layers, luxuriously covered in organic wool and wrapped in an organic cotton cover, creates a pure, cool and pressure-relieving collection.
Since its wholesale launch in 2023, the third-generation, family-owned mattress company has expanded across the United States, partnering with like-minded retail showrooms that prioritize quality and differentiation in their business model.
“It has become apparent to us in these past several years that consumers and specifically the female consumer who is often the decision maker in this category, are looking for several particular boxes to check while shopping. We continue to innovate based on these preferences,” says Alexa Williams, co-founder of Williams Co. “The first is a noticeable increase in requests for clean, natural or organic raw materials. Second, people want to avoid feeling “bound to” or “committed to” a product firmness that isn’t a perfect fit. Third, there is an element of luxury and decadence that people seem to be re-associating with comfortable “cloudlike” sleep. These more femininely designed products are appealing because they help customers feel that they are purchasing something that will bring them serenity and self-care. Lastly, people want to know that their product has durability and that the materials will not fail.”
The Signature collection uses wool as a flame retardant and features a cotton cover. Both fibers are organic, cool to the touch and give consumers confidence that they are resting on clean and eco-friendly materials.
All three products come in a dual-core option, available in queen, king and California sizes, offering a combination of one-half firm and one-half plush without a split down the middle. The zipper allows for changes in coil firmness in the event of an exchange, decreasing buyers’ concerns that they can’t make an easy change if necessary.
This feature also benefits retailers seeking to avoid product exchanges or returns because of customer comfort concerns. A luxurious houndstooth cover wraps the full lineup — the Hartford, St. Augustine and top-of-the line Charleston, which sit at heights of 12, 13 and 16 inches. Retail pricing ranges from $1,999 to $6,199.
