Mlily, retailer partners share focus and optimism for 2026

At the recent Las Vegas Market, Mlily introduced value-driven product updates while engaging retailers in candid conversations about buying behavior, inventory strategies and growth expectations. Positive retailer response across key categories reinforced a shared sense of cautious optimism heading into 2026.

According to Derek Leishman, national sales director for Mlily, the winter market served as an important checkpoint following several challenging years across the industry.

“One of our primary goals for this market was to better understand where retailers are today and how recent pressures are impacting their buying behavior, inventory strategies and outlook,” said Leishman. “At the same time, we aligned on longer-term goals across several key product lines to ensure our programs continue to support retailers effectively.”

Mlily met with a broad mix of large national accounts, mid-sized independent retailers, existing partners and new prospects, along with several international buyers. Traffic remained steady throughout market, with Sunday and Monday drawing the highest volume.

Among the most anticipated introductions was the new Essential mattress and pillow line. Retailers who had previewed the assortment in recent months were eager to finalize orders. Designed for today’s budget-conscious consumer, the collection delivers accessible price points without compromising quality or comfort.

Retailers also responded favorably to the split-head WellFlex Ice mattress paired with the MS300 adjustable base. As demand grows for personalized comfort solutions, the split-head category continues to gain traction by offering adjustable flexibility without sacrificing shared sleep comfort. Many retailers view the segment as an opportunity to differentiate their floor and drive higher average tickets.

Updates to the Mlily pillow assortment further strengthened attachment opportunities by providing retailers with a compelling add-on story at the point of sale. The refreshed PowerCool and Serenity models, now available in King size and shoulder cutout options, address consumer demand for cooling performance and ergonomic support.

Beyond product introductions, conversations throughout the market pointed to a consistent theme: disciplined focus paired with cautious optimism for 2026.

“This market reinforced our direction for the year and validated our longer-term outlook,” said Leishman. “While there remains some near-term caution, many retailers are preparing their businesses to be ready when consumer confidence improves. The retailers and manufacturers best positioned for success are those staying focused on what they can control.”

Mlily plans to maintain its focus on operational reliability and product development to remain a trusted resource across multiple bedding categories.
